About Us

Please allow us to introduce ourselves! We are a Brisbane based duo, namely Adeline and Melissa, brought together by a mutual desire to bake and create beautiful cakes and other sweet things. 

We started off as two friends both working in very different industries by day, and creating cakes and treats by night for family and friends. After much encouragement from both our hubbies and families, we decided to take the plunge and take the first steps toward our dreams.

We left our jobs and off to France we went for a patisserie course! Inspired by our time there, we decided to name our business "Miam" which means "yum" in French. We now specialise in personalised hand-sculpted sugarpaste figurines with cakes for any occasion, and also a delicious array of designer sweet treats. Each and every one of our custom designed cakes, sugarpaste figurines, and not forgetting the big and small bites are a labour of love, all of which are carefully created with the utmost attention to detail. It never ceases to amaze us how a little sugar, butter, eggs, and flour combined with some chocolate or fruit or other flavourings can create something so amazing as a cake, biscuit or tart!
